María Luisa Peña is a professional make-up artist and a specialist in beauty, originally from Estepona (Málaga, Spain). She studied Superior Aesthetics in Málaga, and she increased her make-up knowledge in Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza and London. Her work has been focused on two well-defined lines: make-up and integral aesthetic.
In the professional make up, she takes on different fields; weddings, events, catalogues, editorials, fashion productions, video clips…
She’s been working on the aesthetic industry for more than 10 years, especially in the luxury sector, working in SPAs and recognized beauty centres. Developing a precise, unique and very personal technique.

She has improved her profession working for important National and International aesthetics firms, and has put her brushes on many celebrities’ faces. For example, her work with Oscar Isaac (“Poe Dameron” in Star Wars VII), for the TIME Magazine’s Frontpage.
Regarding to her occupation in weddings, her establishment in Marbella has given her the opportunity of doing bridal make-ups and guests make-ups of very valued celebrations. From weddings of renowned families who belong to the higher levels of society, to Hindu or Jewish celebrations.

At present she has her own beauty space in San Pedro de Alcántara’s Boulevard, where she offers beauty and make-up services having a professional team at her disposal with the same methodology.

She has worked for different magazines and newspapers’ editorials, such as “Time”, “Telva”, “Telva Brides”, “Hello!”, “Love”, “Semana”, “Diez Minutos”, “Interviú”, “Linda”, “Diario Sur”, “As”; and has also done catalogues for “Gucci”, “Bgo&me” and “Ascari”.

Her works have appeared in the most important blogs about brides, such as “Style me pretty”, “The Big Fat Indian Wedding”, “Smashing the glass”, “Amor pra sempre”, among others.

She has worked with celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Kasia Al Thani, Eugenia Silva, Chenoa, Edurne, Astrid Muñoz, Almudena Fernández, Beatriz de Orleans, Ana Fernández, Silvia Fominaya, Makoke, Ana Obregón, Verónica Hidalgo, Fernando Torres and, as mentioned before, Oscar Isaac.

María Luisa has been the make-up artist in different galas and events like the “Goya Awards”, “Starlite”, “Global Gift Gala” or the “Málaga Film Festival”.
It should be pointed out that she collaborates with great photographers such as Javier Jayma, Marco Grob and Jorge Ogalla, among others.
